"Hello! My name is Elizabeth Eickhoff and I am the music teacher here at Washington. This is my first year here, and I could not be more excited! I graduated with my degree in K-12 Music Education from Idaho State University in Pocatello, ID. In my free time, I like to read, watch movies, and practice my flute. I am looking forward to a wonderful year here at Washington!"
I was born in England and spent most of my early childhood living in Germany. My family moved to Boise Idaho on my ninth birthday! I am a recent graduate from The College of Idaho right here in Caldwell. I have always loved reading and can constantly be found with my nose in a book. I am also likely to sing at any given moment! I am currently singing with my college’s alumni and friends choir. I am extremely excited to start the year with the Kindergarten children!
Kyle Backlund-5th Grade
My name is Kyle Backlund. I was born in Fortuna, CA, but I have spent the majority of my life in Nevada (Go Wolf Pack). I moved to Boise 10 years ago from Reno. My wife Amanda and I now live in Middleton, and we have two boys, ages 2 and 5. When not spending time with my family, I enjoy coaching basketball, playing basketball, golfing, and watching football. This will be my first year teaching and I will be teaching 5th grade. I am familiar with Washington Elementary and its staff because I had the opportunity to do my student teaching with Gary Johnson here at this school. I am very excited for the upcoming year to begin!
Hello everyone, I am Jill Kroll! I was born and raised in Caldwell and graduated from Caldwell High School. For the past 3 years, I was an Instructional Aide at Wilson Elementary. I have been married to my husband Rich for 25 years and we have 2 amazing kids; Pretta is 13 and Walker is 9. During the summer, you can find me with my family, waterskiing any chance I can get! I also enjoy wakeboarding, reading, music, doing home remodeling projects, family adventures in our RZR (ATV), and exploring Idaho. I can’t wait to share my passion for reading with the students of Washington Elementary!
